Booking & Reservation
Reservations can be made through your concierge before or during your stay:
Deadline: Reservations must be confirmed by 8:00 PM the night before (by 4:00 PM for Royal Flights).
Pickup & Transfer
Your adventure begins early in the morning with a 4×4 or van pickup from your accommodation, followed by a drive partially on off-road tracks to the launch site.
Pre-Flight & Takeoff
Upon arrival, enjoy a traditional Moroccan tea as you watch the balloons being prepared. A detailed safety briefing is given before boarding. The flight lasts between 40 to 60 minutes, depending on weather conditions. The experience includes a high-altitude phase for panoramic views and a low-altitude phase for closer perspectives of villages, farms, and the local wildlife.
Landing & Berber Breakfast
After landing, guests are greeted in a traditional caidal tent for a Berber breakfast, prepared by the women of the Douar (village) of Oulad El Garn. (For Royal Flights, breakfast is served onboard during the flight.) Guests will also receive a flight certificate as a memento of their adventure..
Flight Zones Jbilets North – Palmeraie of Marrakech This is our historic and main base, offering stunning views of the Atlas Mountains (on clear days), the city of Marrakech to the south, the Tensift Valley, and the Jbilets Mountains. Flights operate approximately 350 days per year, making it one of the most frequent ballooning operations worldwide. Agafay Desert – South of Marrakech Ciel d'Afrique is the only authorized company permitted to fly over this unique rocky desert. Due to the terrain and weather conditions, flights may require longer waits for retrieval vehicles. Only passengers staying in the Agafay area are eligible for this flight, with transfers provided by 4x4 from your camp or accommodation. South of Agadir – Towards Tiznit (Available on request) This exclusive flight option is arranged for groups of at least 16 people or during special scheduled campaigns.
