Welcome to Villa Kergondé in Marrakech

• 7 Bedrooms • Villa 600 m² • Land 23,000m² • Pool 10m Ø•

It all begins with an absolutely stunning road that will take you to Villa Kergondé. At least, that’s the hope. Because between the Majorelle Gardens (23 minutes away) and that little ridge path beckoning you, you’ll find yourself slowing down considerably.

Look up. The sky might treat you to a fleet of hot-air balloons, a stork and two camels on patrol, or better still, as night falls, a blanket of shooting stars that the Milky Way drapes between the palm trees. And if you hear an owl hooting, don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Welcome to Marrakech. Or perhaps somewhere else.
A sloping roof like a signature. With ceilings reflecting water, the living rooms open their arms to a lush palm grove, a central marble fireplace, discreetly opulent. Outdoor kitchen and barbecue, indoor and outdoor dining areas, because the best spot is where you can eat with your feet up. It’s a bit as if Morocco had descended into the southern hemisphere.

Five double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom featuring a washbasin, shower, wardrobe and safe. A master suite with a dressing room, bath and double washbasin. A dormitory with 3 place bunk bed and a crib. Nothing is missing, except the desire to leave.
Outside, the garden. Planted with clusters of palm trees, carpeted with succulents twice a year, they bloom, just like Marrakech. It’s a long, silent fireworks display, no need for firecrackers.
And for fans of fuzzy balls (don’t act surprised), there’s this: not a tennis court. Not a padel court. But both, freshly installed, floodlit, close enough to hear each other, far enough apart not to mix up the tea towels with the bath towels.

Villa Kergondé. In Marrakech.
Well worth renting. And renting again. A landmark, a break, another match point.
Everything is there to make you want to come back. And when a place makes you want to come back, it’s because it never really left you.
